  8.                          **Directory Instructions**
  9.  
  10. If you are running HYDOS on a hard disk, copy all the files into a
  11. separate directory.  Always load the HYDOS program from this directory.
  12.  
  13.                            **Loading HYDOS**
  14.  
  15. At the DOS prompt (in the HYDOS directory), type HR to install the
  16. program in memory. After it loads, hold the Ctrl key down and depress
  17. the Backspace (<-) key.
  18.  
  19.                                **Operations**
  20.  
  21. Press Ctrl-Backspace to active the program
  22. Press Arrow keys to operate the program
  23. Press F1 key for help
  24. Press ESC to terminate the program
  25. Press Alt-T to remove the program from memory while the program is on
  26. the screen.

  28. HYDOS is a memory-resident program. Have it sit in the background until
  29. you need to find a description of a DOS command. To invoke the program
  30. just hit the Control and Back-space keys then follow the directions.
  31. When you have read the command information either hit the Escape key to
  32. return the program to the back-ground, or hit Alt-T to remove it from
  33. memory.

  35.                        **Memory-resident conflicts**
  36.  
  37. Because the HyperRez program makes no stack calls, it is unaffected by the
  38. loading sequence or memory location of other programs.
  39.  
  40. One item to remember is that HR.EXE should be unloaded from memory in the
  41. reverse order that it was installed. That means, if you load HR.EXE before
  42. you load another program, then unload it after you unload that program.

  44. Program size:        16065 bytes (HyperRez on disk)
  45. Installed size:      59680 bytes (for program, text, and links)
  46. ASCII file size:     Maximum size in 20K (set by text buffer)
  47. Maximum recall:      Remembers Right-arrow jumps 64 levels deep
